Lithuanian language courses with KURSUOK – an excellent choice for anyone wishing to learn Lithuanian. The state-funded program "Lithuanian for Foreigners" will help you learn the Lithuanian language at your chosen level or prepare for the Lithuanian Language Category 1 exam. The course program covers important areas of everyday life, including work, leisure, shopping, health, education, entertainment, travel, and family.
These courses are a great opportunity to build a solid foundation in the Lithuanian language and culture. We aim to help our students overcome the fear of speaking, understand context even without knowing certain words, and provide tips on how to effectively study the language independently and immediately apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
Before starting the courses, we offer a free level assessment conversation during which, together with a language teacher, we will discuss your goals and recommend the most suitable program.
Qualified teachers and a personalized approach ensure that the training is effective and tailored to your individual needs.
The course duration is 60 academic hours. We offer courses at A1, A2, B1, and B2 levels.
There are two possible funding options for the courses: KURSUOK.LT or self-funding. Please check the KURSUOK.LT platform, and if funds are available, make use of them. If funding is no longer available, you may choose to pay for the courses independently.
What is KURSUOK.LT and why is it worth studying at AMES Academy with state funding from the Republic of Lithuania?
KURSUOK is a national adult education platform operating on a one-stop-shop principle, where people can choose the training they need that aligns with state priorities and receive funding of up to €500. The KURSUOK platform aims to encourage adults to develop general and professional competencies, contribute to the development of lifelong learning habits in society, and provide opportunities for individuals who wish to learn to apply for state funding.
